ABOUT KARA
LITTLE SISTER
I grew up in San Diego as the youngest of four children. I grew up with three older brothers and two amazing parents who helped me become the person I am today. I am fortunate enough to have my entire family in San Diego, and I pride myself in my close knit family.
COMPETITIVE ALL-STAR CHEERLEADING
I have been a member of Cheerforce Nfintiy for five years. My team is in the International Open Co ed division and we have received several national titles and were World Champions in 2015. I dedicate a lot of time to this team and they have become my family. Being a part of all-star cheerleading during college has taught me time management, discipline, and dedication.
SAN DIEGO STATE CHEERLEADING
I was member of San Diego State cheerleading all four years at the University. I competed on both the Coed team as well as the all-girl team. My team placed top 3 her senior year at Nationals in Florida. I am honored to have had the opportunity to represent my school and I will forever have Aztec pride.
SUMMER IN BARCELONA
I studied abroad Summer 2016 for one month. This fulfilled my study abroad requirement. I took a course on Mediterranean cuisine and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I cannot wait to explore the nutrition and lifestyles of more countries in the future.
